Step into the intrigue of Pantomime Pandemonium at Bowood with They’re Behind You! – A Christmas Cracker of a Murder!
Enter the world of the Bowood Players’ annual pantomime, Jack & The Beanstalk, where tensions are running high behind the scenes. Clashing personalities, secret romances and missing possessions suggest that not all is well among the cast. Then shock strikes: the star of the show, Russell Sprout, a former children’s TV favourite, fails to appear!
With every cast member a suspect and everyone seemingly harbouring a motive, the mystery deepens. Join Inspector Willy Catchem as you question suspects, uncover clues and piece together the evidence to discover who is guilty.
As the investigation unfolds, suspense builds towards a dramatic and laughter-filled conclusion. Can you unmask the culprit before the final curtain falls?

Dress Code – Dress in your best winter chic or a festive jumper (No jeans, sportswear, or trainers).
Good to Know:
- Guests attending this event must be aged 18 or over.
- Choose to pay in full at the time of booking or secure your booking with a deposit.
- If paying a deposit, the remaining balance must be paid by Friday 30th October 2026.
- Once final payment has been made, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation, reduced guest numbers, or non-attendance.
- All payments, including deposits, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- A menu selection form will be sent after booking and must be completed with your chosen choices and returned to us by Friday 30th October 2026.
- Parties of fewer than 8 guests will be seated at shared tables with other guests.
- Groups of 12–14 guests wishing to sit on one table should contact us before booking, subject to availability and table configuration. Unfortunately, tables larger than 14 guests cannot be accommodated.
- A Disco/DJ and Magic Mirror are not included as part of this festive murder mystery dinner event.
